This first visit is a free day of Daycare - it is best your pet is here for a minimum of 4 hours.
Check-In for Daycare is 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Check-Out for Daycare 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
If you need to drop off or pick up outside of these times, you can call us at 704-822-1966
Why we Require this visit:
This day lets us know how your pet does with our staff, being kenneled at times, being walked on leash, and how they do in our fenced in yard either with other dogs or alone with a staff member.
We ultimately want to assess them so we can find out what your pet(s) like best, so we can provide the most comfortable stay possible and provide you with any information that you may need for future visits or stays.
Our Services
We are open 7 Days of the Week unless otherwise specified. Please note : For Daycare and Boarding services, we do not take walk-ins.
All of the dogs are closely supervised by qualified staff to ensure they are socializing safely in groups of 10 dogs or less or provided one on one time with staff and equally engaged, exercised, and attended to.
Daycare is provided two 30 minute play times minimum, weather permitting. When occupancy allows, we give our pets extra time outside to play, roam, or get loved on by staff. When not outside, our guests are provided private kennels with fresh water, bedding, kong toys, and treats to enjoy during their down time.
Daycare pets are welcome to have their own meals or treats provided during their day with us, we just ask it be brought in a resealable container or bag.
What we require prior to your first visit:
- Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, & Canine Influenza Vaccines
- The Canine Influenza vaccine is not included in typical wellness plans or DAPP vaccines.
- ParaInfluenza versus Canine Influenza: they are caused by two different pathogens, so the prevention and treatments are different as well. Canine Influenza is not required by law, but is required here to keep your pet and the pets in our care, safe and healthy. We are close to the airport, and have many pets that come here that are from out of town where the Influenza pathogen is an active concern, feel free to reach out if you have further questions.
- Dogs must be up to date on Flea/Tick Prevention
- Puppies must be at least 16 weeks (4 months) old and fully vaccinated.
On some Major Holidays, we are not open to the public, and Daycare is closed. We do still have staff available for your boarding pets:
-
Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day
Cancellation Policy
We do not charge for cancellations, but we appreciate a call -- even if it is the morning of the stay, so we can assist those who may be waiting for a spot to open up.
No Call - No Show
Once your pet has a pattern of 3 or more missed daycare reservations in the same month, we are unable to reserve them out beyond one week at a time.
