Chris, aka “Happy,” has been one of our top Kennel Attendants since joining the team in 2022. Known as our professional “Dog Walker, Treat Dealer, and Belly Rub Administrator,” Chris brings dedication, compassion, and positivity to every shift.
After retiring from a printing company following an incredible three-decade career, and after saying goodbye to his own beloved Doberman Companions, Chris realized something was missing in his life. That realization led him to our team, where his passion for animals quickly became clear.
Chris has a genuine love for every dog in our care and always arrives with a smile, ready to take on whatever the day brings. His favorite part of the job is spending quality time with anxious or shy pets, helping them build trust and confidence. For Chris, there’s no better feeling than seeing a timid dog light up with full-body wiggles the moment they see him. Bring your pets in, and he's going to love them.
