Meet Our Team

Hello! I'm Dr. Kelley Wallace, veterinarian, DVM, and the owner of Catawba Animal Hospital.

Lisa was born and raised in Texas, spent many of her adult years in Alaska, and now calls the Charlotte area home. Lisa joined the Catawba Heights team in 2022 but has been working in veterinary medicine since 1996.

How long have you been working here? Hi, I'm Martha Johnson. I've been working here since 2019, and it's the best job ever. I love all the pets!

I'm a Pet Parent with two dogs, Baby Boy and Rose, and two cats, Beetle and Murphy.

I started grooming dogs as soon as I graduated high school and have been doing all breed pet grooming for 30 years. I have worked at Claws and Paws for the last 18 years. Outside of work I enjoy spending my time with my 5 rescue dogs and devote much time to rescue work and fostering dogs.

Kayla grew up in Bryson City and moved to Dallas during her teenage years. She graduated with her degree in Veterinary Medical Technology in 2010 from Gaston College.

How did you start working at Catawba Heights? I'm Sarah, one of the registered veterinary technicians here. I graduated in 2021 with my veterinary medical technology degree and started my work-based learning here with Dr. Walls. I just never left!

Hey! My name is Ashley and I have been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 20 years now. I have worked at Catawba Heights since 2021, and I absolutely love it! I have one dog (a three-year-old Boxer named Paisley), and two cats named Skittles and Snickers.

Halley is a veterinary assistant with Catawba Heights Animal Hospital and is currently working towards her RVT license at Gaston College.

Carder is a Veterinary Assistant at Catawba Heights Animal Hospital.
